The 0-60 Acceleration was founded in 2024 by Brenda and Brian Harris, a husband and wife team united by their passion for fast cars and acceleration metrics. Brenda and Brian met at an autocross racing event back in 2015, where they first bonded over their mutual love of high-performance vehicles.
Brenda holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Automotive Engineering, giving her an in-depth understanding of what makes cars fast. With over 10 years of experience reviewing vehicles in the automotive industry, she is considered an expert on 0-60 times, quarter mile times, horsepower figures, and other acceleration specs.
Brian complements Brenda’s automotive knowledge with his technology expertise. Holding degrees in Computer Science and Information Technology, Brian has over 15 years of experience building and optimizing high-traffic websites. As the blog’s CTO, he ensures the site runs fast while handling heavy loads.
The Idea for 0-60 Acceleration
After being married for a few years, Brenda and Brian decided to combine their unique skillsets and launch the 0-60 Acceleration. They saw a need in the marketplace for a site dedicated specifically to acceleration metrics, something all performance automotive enthusiasts care about.
